I've been eating a lot lately.  Here is a little treat I bought 
from the boulangerie. It's wrapped like a gift.

 

And inside, a raspberry tartlette! With pistachios and 
cream.

More rasps, this time on my daily dried fruit muesli

I visited Amelia, my sister's childhood friend, in Paris (she's an 
assistant, too).  Saucy chicken & fries for lunch (my first 
real-deal [and semi-expensive] meal), with beer and coffee, a
foggy Eiffel Tower, a short tour of the Pantheon, and lots of 
walking.  We later dined in her teeny but adorable studio (located
on the street where the last scene [I think] of Breathless was 
filmed! and where Man Ray lived.) I walked around Paris for
two hours at dusk while Amelia had a private English lesson.
