I'm thanking Aunt M. for sending my beloved Mentholatum many months ago. I hoped I wouldn't get sick during my trip, and it looked like I might win my own bet, but I should have known better. An 11-hour snooze and about 60 episodes of Parks and Recreation seem to have healed me, though.
The Picardie weather has continued to blow everyone's minds. It's gooooorgeous. Sun makes such a difference in everything.
Even banananananananas!
Our high school went on strike yesterday because of 6 predicted teacher cuts next year and larger class sizes. We thought we should get in on the action so we joined the 10 a.m. procession through town. We walked all over and stopped at schools along the way, chanting and waving to the kids watching us from the school windows. MEGAPHONE FUN!
I love strikes. (Except the transportation ones.)
N and I went for a evening springtime walk yesterday. The blooming flowers made me happy. And this cat food, too!
Here is a semi-sick person's lunch. Very colorful. And flavorful.
