Peachy

After a long, tiring week, and my first evening of May without paperwork or lesson plans or pre-observation forms, I took this sweet thing (evidence of teacher lifestyle with marker under the fingernails):

And made this creamy-sweet thing. It's gone and gobbled. A fine way to enjoy the warm evening with front and back doors letting in the breeze. Lots of birdies and dogs making noise outside. I don't know how to say "I love spring" in a truer way than just that.

Soon: two marriages in one weekend, watching tomato plants grow overnight, graduating preschoolers, and completing my first year of teaching. Oooo-eee!
